How to use the Chat Tool
Coaches, Managers and Referees,
We are happy to be using GotSoccer to help us manage our game day operations.
With the upcoming Fall 2019/Spring 2020 seasons approaching, we are working hard behind the scenes on all scheduling and operational processes to ensure a successful season for your players, teams and clubs.
In an effort to provide a uniform experience for all participating teams and clubs, we will be requiring player rosters to be in the GotSoccer system this year for ALL teams. These rosters won't show publicly but will show on the official game card for referees. They will also be used for tracking yellow/red cards during league play.
As you can imagine, there needs to be a database of rosters connected to the schedules to effectively manage all of these processes.
This page will give you instructions on how to gain access to your GotSoccer team account, add players to your rosters and download game cards (match reports). At the very bottom of this page you will find a username and a link to login that you will need. But first, you will need your password which you can get by clicking HERE and entering your e-mail address.
Once you have your password, please click on the login link below and enter the username at the bottom with the password you just received.
Once logged in you can add players to your team by clicking on “Roster” in the grey menu bar. Once there you can click “Register New Player” and add the player’s information:
First name, last name, gender and DOB are all required. GotSoccer never shares, sells, or leases any data to third parties.
If you coach/manage multiple teams, each team will have their own username/password. However, if you feel that you already have an account for this team, you can fill out this form and we will do our best to combine your league/tournament history with the roster.
The form must be correctly filled out in order to process attempts to merge the accounts.
If you try to add a player to your team and get a “Locked by club” error, this may be because your club is planning on doing this for you (or already has). If you have trouble with that you can contact GotSoccer. Their support staff can be reached at 1-904-746-4446 (M-F) 9:00 am-5:00 pm eastern time.
To recap, the entering of players in GotSoccer is not “Official.” The “Official” players must have US Club ID cards. However, we will be matching those ID cards to the GotSoccer game sheet, which will track the suspensions. Teams can use the chat tool to communicate about potential game changes. This way if there is a dispute between teams/clubs, we can can view/read/interject into the chats if necessary to help facilitate the process.
Thank you in advance for your support on this initiative. A small amount of work on the front end will help ensure we all enjoy successful and drama fee league play throughout the coming fall and spring seasons.
